7:43 am. West LA. A senora with her pile of dirty laundry rolled her cart, crossed the street of Palms & Motor. She stopped and poured seeds on the pavement next to the vacant lot. Tens of birds resting on the electrical wire swarmed down in exhilaration pecking on the fresh pavement. Ahhh ... the senora has fulfilled her Sunday duty and now she's ready to do her laundry.
